HOW TO SERVE PROSECCO
Prosecco should be enjoyed young to truly savour its aroma and flowery, fruity flavor. The best time to drink Prosecco is between 18/24 months after the harvest. Bottles should be held horizontally and kept in a cool, dry place, at a constant temperature and away from heat and light, between 12 and 14 degrees. Prosecco should be serve chilled between 6 and 8 degrees. In order to get it to this temperature it can be place in an ice bucket half filled with ice and water or it can be put in the refrigerator for some hours before serving it. A fairly large tulip glass is ideal because it allows to appreciate the richness of the aromas of this wine. Contrary to common belief, the flute is not suitable because it does not allow the bouquet to be released. LA |
